Prof. Dr. Vasudev Agnihotri a retired Professor & Academic Dean of Nrupatunga Degree College, PG & Research Centre, Sedam Dist. Gulbarga, secured Ph.D. in the year 1984 from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Served as a Professor for more than 30 years. Now he is working as a Regional Director of NIVS Bengaluru, affiliated to YSAM University, Florida USA. Under his guidance 7 students are perceiving M.Phil. & Ph.D.

He has presented 3 papers in International Seminars, Hundreds of papers in State Seminars, Published more than 20 books, Written & Directed 3 Documentary Films. Edited National Level Magazines of more than 100 Crores events like Shruti, Abhyudaya, Kalaburagi Kampu which are souvenirs of weeklong events visited by more than 10 lakh people in each. Delivered more than 600 Radio Bulletins regarding Ecocentric Socio-Economic Development, for 15 minutes each every Sunday, from AIR Gulbarga, Hospet & Raichur. Conducted AIR interviews with Philanthropic personalities like Justice Shivaraj Patil, Dr. Sudha Murthy, Dr. Santosh Hegde & Dr. Gururaj Karjagi.

Received Shrinivasa Anugraha Award from TTD, Tirupati, Vijayendra Award from Mantralayam, Bhaktagresara Award from Mulubagilu Mutt & Vikasa Preraka Award from Bharat Vikasa Sangam Delhi.

He is serving  the society in various capacities, Teacher, Scholar, Pro-Active Volunteer in Socio-Economic Services of Rural Border Backward Area i.e. Hyderabad-Karnataka, North-East part of Karnataka. He is a mentor for hundreds of students for their careers in education, employment in overall personality development, and he has instituted Agnihotri Book House a non-profit organization, working as a bridge between meritorious writers & needful readers related to Vedic Science in general & Haridasa Sahitya in particular at Gulbarga & Sedam, with delivery points at Bengaluru & Hyderabad.

Now he is working as a Southern Chief for Kautilya International Foundation, Delhi. Media Chief of Vikasa Academy, Gulbarga under the guidance of Dr. Basavaraj Patil Sedam, former MP (Rajya Sabha). He is an honorary consultant for tourism promotion in Hyderabad Karnataka Development Area, A Govt. of Karnataka Unit. He is well-versed in Kananda, English, Hindi & Telugu, and has knowledge of Marathi & Sanskrit Also.
